THRESHOLD sanity and hallucinations

At the Story shop, complete the Energy drink purchase and verify recovery on the meter. A later low-sanity scene introduces a camera-flash defense. Exact depletion, item prices, numerical recovery and enemy multipliers are not established here.

Use the recovery stop

  1. Read the shop objective and inspect the sanity meter before buying.
  2. Select the Energy drink and finish checkout. A selection alone is not a completed purchase.
  3. Check the meter afterward to see the result. Collect useful available batteries before moving on.
  4. Follow the new Story instruction; shop recovery and the next supermarket route are separate tasks.

Keep responding through the defense

Community reports describe a later phase with approaching threats and misleading figures. Watch the current approach and defense cue; do not spend every flash on a distant shape just because it looks unsettling.

Scan across the scene, aim and flash when the defense task calls for it, then reset your scan to the other side. Stop staring at the target you just handled. Continue that loop until the phase ends; on a retry, identify whether a distraction or a missed scan drew attention away from the next response.

What the sources do and do not establish

Supported reportUnconfirmed detail
Energy drink shop recovery in Story.A fixed recovery amount or price.
A low-sanity warning before hallucinations. An exact trigger threshold or depletion formula.
A camera-flash defense sequence.A universal rule that every distant figure is dangerous.

Prepare for what follows

Read the current instruction after the defense ends. The reported Story route continues into a darker escape, making the earlier resource check useful. This does not establish a hidden ending or a guaranteed survival build.

Source notes

This sanity guide does not establish a numerical depletion or recovery formula; use the current meter and defense cues.
